Information sought about Waterside burglaries

Detectives at Strand Road police station are appealing for information about two burglaries in the Waterside.

Houses at Broomhill Court and Rossdowney Road were broken into on Thursday 29th January.

Detective Inspector David McQuade said that at Broomhill Court, suspects forced entry to the rear of the house and a number of high value items were stolen, including exclusive wines, champagnes and spirits and jewellery and cash.

At Rossdowney Road, a quantity of cash was stolen.

Police are keen to hear from anyone who noticed vehicles being used in suspicious circumstances between 6pm and 8pm.
