An Inishowen man completed his ice bucket challenge in a unique way by standing under Glenevin Waterfall in Clonmany.

Neil Gillespie, a member of Inishowen Rugby Club, took to one of the peninsula’s most spectacular natural landmarks after being nominated to undertake the fundraiser, which is sweeping social media.

Neil can be seen accepting the challenge and nominating three other names.

He tells how he “can’t find a bucket” but the waterfall is the “next best thing.”

Glenevin Waterfall is one of Inishowen’s top attractions and stands over 40ft tall.

The walk to it is through a wooded stream valley dotted with picnic areas and vantage points with views of the surrounding coast and countryside.
