Irish legend and funny man Brendan Grace will perform live at The Alley Theatre, Strabane for one night only on March 8.

Brendan has had an amazing career - forty two years ago when the 20 year old Dubliner set off on his solo career he could never have envisaged the road of life that lay ahead. Two years later a Geordie song called Cushy Butterfield sailed to No 1 in the Irish charts and the rest is history.

Brendan’s latest show features some brand new material and some ‘Old Favourites’ from his vast repertoire over the last 42 years. His sense of timing and ability to read an audience is without equal. A brilliant character actor, his ‘Bottler’ character is legendary and is now featured at every performance.

Emma Devine Marketing Officer at the Alley Theatre commented: “Brendan Grace is the genial and much loved family comedian and is celebrating 42 years in the comedy business and is now more popular than ever. His modern alternative humour and his show is very much a show for all the family. He is an incredibility talented performer and has great wit and banter with him. He will keep you laughing all through the night. You may remember him for his performance in Father Ted as Father Fintan Stack. He is a fantastic entertainer and has a very special bond with Irish audiences, much loved by young and old not least because he gives very generously of his time after each concert. The ‘Meet and Greet’ is now very much part and parcel of each show and Brendan’s very down to earth approach is much appreciated by all.’

Tickets are £20. For more information please contact The Alley Theatre Box Office on 028 7138 4444 or online at www.alley-theatre.com
