An Culturlann will host an exciting fashion show this Thursday evening in order to mark International Women’s Day.
The Revival fashion show will also celebrate the successful conclusion of a six-week fashion design programme undertaken at the centre under the leadership of art co-ordinator, Cara Mooney. Over 15 students have designed and made a shirt which will be modelled on the evening.
A number of items which formed part of the Valentine art project and display, which was commissioned to mark the opening of Ebrington Square on Valentine’s Day will also be on display. There will also be a historical talk on Derry’s shirt factories and a performance from ‘Jim McDermott and Friends.’
Admission to this event is £5 and doors will open at 7.30pm.
