Actor and Ulster University Chancellor James Nesbitt will be the keynote speaker at the 59th annual President’s Dinner of Derry Chamber of Commerce.
Tickets for the event, which will be staged on the evening of Friday October 21 at the Best Western White Horse Hotel are now on sale.
A spokesperson for the Chamber said: “This event is renowned as the premier business networking event in the North West, attended by business leaders and key influencers. We are delighted to announce that the keynote speaker for this year’s annual President’s Dinner will be the hugely entertaining, award winning actor and Chancellor of Ulster University, Dr James Nesbitt.”
Prior to this on Monday, September 19, the Chamber will host a Eures Lunch Briefing - Business & Employment Incentives event at the City Hotel.
This event will consist of presentations from EURES, PES and INTERREG to a range of employers from both sides of the border, highlighting the various employment and business incentives available to support Small to Medium Enterprises in the border area.
The event will be led by keynote speaker, Susan Hayes Culleton from Hayes Culleton Ltd, which delivers financial markets, economics and entrepreneurship education to corporate audiences and organisations in Ireland, Malta, UK and the US. Susan will discuss the variety of ways to open up new doors through taking advantage of cross-border opportunities, international trade missions and digital technologies.
