Josef Locke - Hear My Song at the Millennium Forum

A celebration of the career of the great Derry tenor Josef Locke will take place in the city’s Millennium Forum next Thursday when the specially devised show, ‘Josef Locke - Hear My Song’ is performed.

A larger than life character, Josef Locke was one of the world’s greatest tenors. For more than 50 years he brought joy to millions and along the way he had an amazing life himself! From tenor to movie star, Josef Locke did it all.

This specially devised celebration show, from the producers of ‘Mario Lanza – The Loveliest Night of The Year’, will feature all the great Josef Locke songs including Hear My Song, Violetta, Come Back To Sorrento, The Drinking Song, Santa Lucia and such Irish classics as I’ll Take You Home Again Kathleen, Dear Old Donegal and not forgetting Goodbye.

Sean Costello will appear as Josef Locke along with Vladimir Jablokov and members of the Slovak Festival Orchestra. The narration is by Derry’s own Phil Coulter.
