The Journal’ Pregnancy, Baby & Toddler Fair which took on Sunday in the City Hotel was a fantastic success with hundreds of parents and prospective parents coming along to find about the services, products and goods available to help them cope with the demands of being a new parent.

The event, the first of its kind to come to Derry offered visitors a one stop shop for parents and soon to be parents.

They had a chance to meet with more than 30 exhibitors who provided information on all the services, products and goods you need in your life to accommodate a new little one.

The fair catered for expectant mothers, new born babies and toddlers with a large selection of nursery furniture, information on the latest toys and learning tools and information on pampering packages which will see mums-to-be through their pregnancy,

Event organiser, Linda O’Neill was delighted the event was such a success. She commented:We were absolutely delighted with the success of the Pregnancy, Baby and Toddler Fair’.

“This is the first time the hotel has hosted such an event and indeed it was a first for the city as well.

“Visitors to the fair all appreciated the fact that so much information and services relating to babies and toddlers was available under one roof.

“The exhibitors also enjoyed the opportunity to interact with visitors and were delighted so many parents and prospective parents came along to see what was on offer.

“The show certainly proved to be a big hit with everyone involved”.
