Honesty alive in city

Sir,

Last week I was shopping at the Quayside shopping centre. On getting back to the parking lot I left my handbag hanging on the shopping cart. I didn’t realise it until I got home.

We dashed back but the bag wasn’t there. I was standing there when a security man came walking towards me. I told him what had happened and he said someone had given my handbag in. I don’t know who it was so may I say to that person a great big THANK YOU - it was so good of them.

Honesty is still alive here in Derry and I am so grateful to that person. Thanks also to the security man for his kindness.
