As part of National Heritage Week at Buncrana Library, Pavement Art for Children, will take place with children chalking pictures on the pavement outside the library will take place today at 3pm. All welcome.

Michael Fisher will be a holding a Donegal Duck Derby in Swan Park tomorrow at 2pm. Michael will be travelling to Kenya to work in the Meisha Mema Children’s Home. Sponsor cards are available in Mac’s, Credit Union, SuperValu, 4 Lanterns, O’Flaherty’s Bar and Natural Beauty.

Buncrana Community Garden is holding an Open Day next Thursday, 30th August at the Buncrana Community Hospital. All welcome.

Inishowen Development Partnership is now taking names for computer classes beginning in September 2012. Classes are: Basic Computers L3, Information Technology Skills L4, and Computer Applications L4. These are all FETAC accredited. They are also offering ECDL. Names are also being taken now for the exciting new Internet and email course which has just started. Fr. Walsh will celebrate Mass at the Mass Rock in Glassmullin, Drumfries next Sunday at 2pm, weather permitting. All welcome. A Mass will be held in St. Aengus’ Church, Burt for motorcyclists on Sunday at 1pm. The Mass will be celebrated to pray for all who have fallen in the last year and to ask God’s blessing in the year ahead. All welcome. The Mass will be followed by a short fundraising run to Ned’s Point R.N.L.I. Station.

A 5 Mile Walk/Run Race, organised for Buncrana G.A.A. The Inishowen Country Market will next be held tomorrow from 2 – 3 p.m. and on 8th September in the Church Hall, Church Street. There will be a wide variety of home produce and crafts. All welcome.

Pathways Inishowen is a domestic abuse service for women and children with one to one support for women, court support, information and training for external agencies on domestic abuse and personal development programmes.
