An informative new heritage exhibition showcasing items which have been donated to Limavady Museum’s collections within the last two years has opened at the Roe Valley Arts & Cultural Centre in Limavady.

The Museum’s recent acquisitions exhibition features an array of items, including archaeological artefacts, photographs, scrapbooks, weighing scales, costumes and much more, “all of which contribute to the richness and diversity of the collections and tell many different stories about the history of the local area”, said a spokesperson.

“Limavady Museum is keen to collect more objects and documents relating to Limavady and the Roe Valley area,” the spokesperson continued.

“If you have anything that you think would be of interest, please contact the museum on 028 7776 0650.”

The exhibition continues in the Centre’s Ritter Gallery until 25 May. Galleries are open Monday-Friday 9.30am-5pm and Saturday 10am-2pm.
