Limavady police thank public for their help after appeal
Police in Limavady have thanked the public for their help with an appeal to locate an elderly man out walking alone on Sunday.
Police had received a report of an elderly man walking on the Windyhill Road outside Articlave on Sunday morning.
Police checked the area, without success, and subsequently issued an appeal for help from the public.
Police confirmed on Monday the man had been found, safe and well.
A PSNI spokesperson said: “Thanks for all your assistance everyone. This man has been identified and is safe and well.”
