Line up confirmed for Together Fest

Organisers have said they are expecting huge demand when tickets for the Together Festival at Ebrington go on sale this Friday.

Over 5,000 people are expected at the strictly over-18s event will see internationally acclaimed DJ Sasha headlining the main stage at the event, which runs from 4pm to 11pm on Saturday, May 27.

A total of three indoor tents will be erected across Ebrington Square, with Sasha joined on the bill at the 3,000 capacity Lush! Arena stage by Huxley, Dave Seaman, Japanese Popstars, Conor J and Pandemic DJs.

The Club MTV Classic Arena, meanwhile, will see Tall Paul and Danny Rampling on the bill alongside Col Hamilton, Rewire & Varso, Paul P, Gleave and Bill X.

New Derry company Cocoa & Green, set up by local men Liam Melly and Peter Devine, will be hosting the Trance Arena, with the bill consisting of Standerwick, Sneijder, Shugz, Gavyn Mytchel, Dee Conaghan & Michael Bittles, with Liam himself also manning the decks.

Derry-based Legacy Promotions, who are co-ordinating the event, have confirmed that tickets priced at £35 plus booking fee, will go on sale on Friday online at www.ticketmaster.ie or at Cool Discs of Foyle Street.

The organisers have also confirmed that they have already booked another event for Derry in 2018.

A spokesman said: “This is something we want to try and grow for Derry.

“All the artists are booked, and we are looking forward to a really good event for the city and this will finish at 11pm so hopefully there will be a knock-on impact for the night-time economy.”

Organisers have advised people under 18 not to bother trying to secure a ticket as formal photographic ID such as passports and driving licenses will be required to gain entry to the event.
