Accused of damage to PSNI Land Rover

A man charged with dangerous driving and damaging a police Land Rover was granted bail to appear at the Crown Court when he appeared at the city’s Magistrate’s Court on Friday.

Ryan McLaughlin, 23, of 103 Broomy Lane, was charged with driving dangerously on October 6, 2012, on roads between William Street roundabout and Little James Street and damaging a police Land Rover.

The court was told further charges would be put in due course.

He was remanded on bail of £500 to appear at the Crown Court sitting in Derry on March 7.
