A man described in court as ‘a low level Fleadh pest’ has been fined at the local Magistrate’s Court.
Anthony Feeney, of Moyola Walk, pleaded guilty to disorderly behaviour in Waterloo Place on August 14.
The court heard that police were dealing with an incident when the 25-year-old approached them and called them ‘orange b******s’.
Police continued to deal with the original incident, but Feeney returned and called them ‘black b******s’.
Feeney was warned about his behaviour but continued to be abusive to police and was arrested.
Defence solicitor Kevin Casey said Feeney was a ‘low level Fleadh pest’ and had pleaded guilty at the first opportunity.
He was fined £300.
