City of Derry Airport has been affected by an air traffic control glitch which occured in Swanwick in England.
The incident, which happened in the early hours of Saturday morning, resulted in the Stansted service being delayed at City of Derry Airport by two hours this morning.
A spokesperson for the airport said:
“As a result of UK wide flight disruption due to a technical issue at National Air Traffic Control Services in Swanwick, City of Derry Airport experienced a delay of two hours on the Stansted service this morning (Saturday).
“All other flights operated on schedule with no further delays experienced. No further delays are expected over the weekend.”
