Police in Derry are trying to track down a “reckless” man who carried a toddler on a scrambler motorbike in icy conditions in the Shantallow area of the city.
The incident happened at around 2.30pm on Wednesday when a man was seen riding a yellow and black scrambler through Fergleen Park and Bracken Park carrying a small child, believed to be approximately one year-old between his legs at the time.
A spokesperson for the PSNI’s Foyle City North Neighbourhood Team said; “Aside from the icy conditions that day, this was a completely reckless action that endangered the life of the child. The Team is keen to identify the rider who was wearing a red and black biker jacket with a black and white helmet.”
