12,000 parking tickets for Derry parkers

Almost 12,000 parking tickets were handed out in Derry last year, it has been revealed.

Information obtained by news website The Detail, from the Department of Regional Development show a total of 11,843 were dished out by ‘red coats’ in Derry last year.

The figures further reveal that both Dungiven and Claudy were among the six northern towns where no tickets were issued.
