Sinn Fein President Gerry Adams will open the party's new Derry office this Saturday.

Sinn Fein President Gerry Adams will open the party's new Derry office this Saturday.

Sinn Féin President Gerry Adams will officially open the party’s new Derry constituency offices at Ráth Mór, it’s been confirmed.

Speaking to the Journal last night the party’s chairperson in the city Andrew McCartney said: “Gerry Adams will be in Derry at 1pm on Saturday to officially open our new constituency offices.

“The new offices at Eastway Road are a major asset to our aim of providing support and advice to the community in these very difficult financial times.

“This move means that we are more accessible to the public that we serve.

“I would like to extend an open invite for people to come along on Saturday and see the new offices.”

Mr McCartney said Saturday’s official opening will also give the party in the city an opportunity to “ thank all those who have wished the party well for the future as we embark on this new chapter for Sinn Féin in Derry.”
