All ready for Carndonagh show

The 96th Inishowen Agricultural Society show will take place tomorrow at the show grounds, Tulnaree, Carndonagh. As usual there will be a wide display of goats, sheep, horses, cows, donkeys, dogs, crafts, vegetables, cakes and other home industries as well as a variety of stalls and fun activities for all. The afternoon is packed with events such as old tyme driving, donkey derby, cossack horse show, vintage tractors and many other events. It promises to be a fun filled day for all. The show co

Good as New is now open in the premises of Margaret Theresa Doherty, Pound Street in aid of Carndonagh I.C.A. open from 11am – 5pm Monday – Saturday. Come along and pick up a bargain.

Charity shop open for 6 weeks in the premises next door to the Chinese restaurant Bridge St. Carndonagh. Proceeds in aid of Nigerian Priest Fr. Paul Gokok. Fr. Paul will be visiting Carndonagh this summer. All money raised will go towards the needs of his parish including transport to enable him to reach parishioners in outlying areas. Anything of good quality that is saleable will be greatly appreciated. There will also be a draw and a name the doll running in the shop for the funds. Carndonagh Little Acorns Montessori Playschool Enrolment forms now available for new opening in September 2008. Specialised Montessori learning curriculum including weekly Spanish language teacher and indoor and outdoor gardening activities with skilled gardener. Snacks and lunch provided by playschool. Summer Youth Conference Finding New Life in Christ “Come and See” on Friday 25th July at the Celtic Peace Garden (near White Oaks, from 2.30pm – 6.30pm. This special afternoon is open to all the young people of Donegal and Derry.
