Ambulance overturns after council van collison

Four people have escaped injury after an ambulance overturned on the main Derry to Belfast road this morning.

It is understood the ambulance collided with a Derry City Council recycling van at the junction of Glenshane Road and Gulf Road.

Neither the two man ambulance crew nor the two council employees were injured but were taken to hospital as a precaution.
