Amy stands for NI Youth Forum election
Amy Phelan. (80612JC2)
Ambitious local teenager Amy Phelan has high hopes of representing the young people from Strathfoyle and Maydown when she stands for election to the Northern Ireland Youth Forum.
The 18 year-old Strathfoyle girl and chairperson of Enagh Youth Forum has already proved herself to be a valued member of the group. In the past two years, Amy has been involved in running a successful campaign to save her local library in Strathfoyle and has participated in and organised events bringing two local communities together for which Enagh Yough Forum won an IMPACT Award.
Wishing Amy the best of luck, a spokesperson for EYF said: “We know that she will be a great voice for young people, if elected.”
