Apprentice Boys Hall damaged in paint bomb attack

Minor damage has been caused to the Apprentice Boys Memorial Hall in Derry after it was targeted by paint bombs.

Police says the attack happened at around 9pm last night ( July 2).

“Shortly after 9pm it was reported that three paint bombs had been thrown at the Memorial Hall. Minor damage was caused to the outside wall of the building,” a PSNI spokesman said.

Anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to contact Police in Strand Road on 0845 600 8000. Or, if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details, they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.
