Accused of carrying a chair leg as an offensive weapon

A 43 year-old Waterside man has appeared in court charged with assaulting a police officer, unlawfully assaulting a female and carrying an offensive weapon, namely a chair leg, with the intention to assault someone.

The case against Mark O’Donnell of Clooney Terrace was adjourned for four weeks until January 31. He was released on his own bail of £350.
