Man denies aggravated burglary

A Limavady man has denied aggravated burglary and false imprisonment.

Robert John Fleming, of Sperrin Road in the town, also pleaded not guilty to making a threat to kill and a threat to damage property, common assault and criminal damage.

The 22 year-old denied further charges of arson and possessing an offensive weapon.

The charges relate to an alleged incident in the Greystone Park area of LImavady on November 12, last year. Derry Crown Court Judge Piers Grant heard the trial, which is expected to last five days, has been listed for October 1. Fleming was remanded in custody and will appear in court again on that date.
