Arrest in bomb probe

A 26 year-old man has been arrested in Derry in connection with an incident when a bomb was planted close to the home of the parents of a PSNI officer in the Shantallow area of the city last month.

In April a device, which was described as being the equivalent of a military hand grenade, was left under a car in the Drumleck Drive area, close to the home of the parents of a serving PSNI officer.
