Body recovered from Foyle

The body of a man has been recovered from Derry's River Foyle, police have confirmed.

A PSNI spokesman said the body was recovered from the river this morning (Tuesday) during a joint operation involving Police and Foyle Search and Rescue .

The spokesman said a post mortem is due to be carried out on the body.
