Boston bride for Glengad groom
The beautiful wedding took place in St Patrick's Church, Aughaclay, Malin on December 29th of Mr Darren Duffy and Ms Susan Luvisi.
Darren is the only son of Johnny and Majella Duffy, Bunn, Glengad, Malin and Susan is the youngest daughter of Catherine and the late Joseph Luvisi, Waltham, Boston, Massachusetts. Mass was Concelebrated by Fr Tom Mullin, cousin of the bride's mother, Fr Peter Devlin PP Malin, Fr Brendan Crowley CC Malin and Fr Brian Brady former PP Malin. The beautiful bride was attended by Michelle Duffy and Patricia Ruddy, both sisters of the groom, Emily Ryzak, Jean Denniston and Orla Lucey, all friends of the bride. The bestman was Terence Colhoun, Groomsmen Paul Murphy, Roy Kelly, Willie McDonagh and Ciaran Naughton, all friends of the groom. The pretty flowergirl was Jessie Ruddy, niece and godchild of the groom.
The Offertory gifts were presented by Shay Ruddy and Reilly Sterritt, nephews of the bride and groom and the Readings were by Esther Porter and Rose Duffy, both aunts of the groom. Prayers of the faithful were read by the bride's four sisters Mary, Sara, Roseanne and Kathleen Luvisi. The beautiful music in the church was provided by Joseph Deery and Thomas Langan. A very enjoyable reception was held in the Inishowen Gateway Hotel, Buncrana, with guests in attendance from Boston, Hollywood, San Francisco, Mississippi, Cleveland, Norway, Scotland and all over Ireland. The happy couple will honeymoon in the Caribbean and will reside in Boston, Massachusetts.
The Sacrament of Confirmation will take place in the Malin Parish on Sunday, May 9th 2010.

There will be a meeting for the Malin Parish Parents' Association of Carndonagh Community School on Monday, 18th January at 8.30pm. The meeting will be held in Scoil Treasa Naofa, Malin and all parents are welcome to attend.
