Brady and Harte ‘Bring It On’ for the Euros
Songwriters Paul Brady and Mickey Harte took to the streets of Dublin on Sunday as part of a flash mob that took over Grafton Street briefly around lunchtime. Starting near Molly Malone, the pair began busking, only to start walking, and be slowly joined by over 60 dancers, singers and even a gospel choir, before stopping outside Bewley's to chant the final chorus of their new song, "Bring It On, Bring It On". The new song is a tribute to the Irish football team and their efforts in Poland in the weeks to come.
Leading songwriters Paul Brady and Mickey Harte have teamed up with a special anthem for the Irish football squad ahead of the European Championships 2012.
Brady and Harte not only have their music talents in common, they both also have strong Strabane and Donegal links - and Lifford in particular, from where the Republic’s goalkeeper Shay Given hails.
