Car parking info and access to Peace Once Day Concert

Over 2,000 car parking spaces have been made available for people attending the Peace One Day Concert in Ebrington Square on Thursday.

Foyleside have made 1,500 spaces available between 5pm to midnight for those attending the concert at a cost of £2 per vehicle.

Derry City Council is making 400 spaces available at St Columb’s Park Leisure Centre in the Waterside.

Harper’s Quay Car Park will have in excess of 180 spaces available which will be accessible both from Spencer Road and from Duke Street roundabout.

Additionally public car parking will be available at other Road Service car parks on Foyle Road, Carlisle Road, Victoria Market, William Street, Strand Road, Queen’s Quay south, Society Street and Bishop Street in the Cityside and at Simpson’s Brae and Alfred Street in the Waterside.

Anyone attending the Peace One Day concert should not that parking restrictions will apply in the Limavady Road area. At Columb’s Road and Browning Drive will both be closed to traffic from 6.30pm.

Ticket holders for the Peace One Day Concert at Ebrington Square can access the venue either by the Peace Bridge from the Cityside or from the Limavady Road on the Waterside.

Although the Peace Bridge will be closed from 6.30am on the day of the concert, it will re-open at 5.30pm for ticket holders.

Pedestrian access to Ebrington Square for the concert will be via the Peace Bridge from the Cityside or St Columb’s Road in the Waterside only.
