Carn C.S. bookshop open today
The Carndonagh Community School book shop will be open today Friday August 28th from 10am-12noon.
The school reopens as follows: Monday 31st for fifth year: Tuesday Sept. 1st for fifth year pupils only: Wednesday 2nd for first, third and fifth years: Thursday 3rd for second, fourth and LCA: and Monday 7th for TY, VTY and PLC pupils.
Carndonagh vintage and classic car club are holding their second annual vintage rally at the Malin Road, Carndonagh on Sunday 6th September at 12noon. Admission is 5euro. Proceeds in aid of the all-Ireland air ambulance. Everyone welcome. Contact Linda on 086 6617672 or Kevin on 085 7011496.
The Computer Suite attached to the Inishowen Development Partnership in Buncrana will have an abundance of accredited classes on offer again for the forthcoming year; also for those people who do not want to do exams they also offer a 'one-to-one' service. So why not come along to their new office in St Mary's Road beside the library (Carlin's old offices) and get more information on timetables and what exactly is available. The Job Club Centre will be starting a new programme for job-seekers in Buncrana and Carndonagh in early September. This is a completely free confidential service for anyone who is currently looking for work, either part-time or full-time.
