College's Danish exchange now in 17th year

Staff and Students at the Strand Road Campus of the North West Regional College are playing host to a group of visiting students from Korsor, Denmark, for the 17th year!

This study exchange partnership between Korsor and the College has really gone from strength to strength and has provided both partners with the opportunity to experience education in different cultural settings.

The current arrangement is a four-week long visit for the Danish students and will include a selection of learning opportunities for the students in a range of subjects at the College including Music, Hospitality and Catering, Engineering and Multimedia.

A spokesperson for North West Regional College said: “We are delighted, once again, to welcome our friends from Denmark to our College. This partnership is a real success story for us, indeed, our staff and students have gained so much from the visits over the years. We are confident that the current visitors will receive an invaluable insight into our learning and studying techniques following their experiences at the College.”

North West Regional College intends to extend its partnership with Korsor by visiting Denmark in 2011. The partnership is funded by the Leonardo Da Vinci European Training UK fund.
