Concern over missing Derry pensioner

The family of a Derry pensioner missing from his home since Friday are becoming increasingly concerned for his safety, police say.

James O’Boyle (71), from Galliagh Park was last seen at his home around 9:30am on Friday, 30 November. He is described as approx 6ft tall, of stocky build, grey hair and blue eyes.

When last seen James was wearing a rain proof jacket, black trousers and shoes.

Police are appealing to James to contact them or his family to let them know he is safe and well.

Anyone who knows of his whereabouts is asked to contact police at Strand Road on 0845 600 8000.
