Congrats for St Mary's
Foyle Sinn Féin MLA Martina Anderson has congratulated St Mary's College after one of its teachers and two students were among the winners at the Sentimus all-Ireland Young Innovators of the Year Awards at the Odyssey Arena in Belfast.
Anne Blanking received a Teacher of Excellence award while students Nicole Lynch and Aoife White picked up Sentimus All-Ireland awards.
Ms Anderson said: "St. Mary's seems to make a habit of bringing the spotlight of brilliance to bear on its students with its regular display of educational excellence. I extend my congratulations to all concerned at the school, particularly Anne Blanking and Nicole and Aoife. I have no doubt that we have not heard the last of their progression to further success as they travel on life’s journey and very rewarding careers. You have done Derry proud and Derry is very proud of you.”
