Derry’s Mayor has paid tribute to Donegal’s All Ireland Final winners.
Sinn Fein Mayor Kevin Campbell said the north west neighbours were fully deserving of their win.
“It was wonderful to see the colour and jubilation as our close neighbours Donegal became deserved winners of the All Ireland crown for only the second time in 20 years.
“I would like to extend my congratulations to the management and team on their victory and I’m sure that they, and all their many supporters, will enjoy their celebrations over the next couple of days.”
Donegal won their second All-Ireland SFC title with a 2-11 to 0-13 over Mayo at Croke Park on Sunday.
