Derry pub has best toilets in North
A Derry pub has the best pub toilets in Northern Ireland.
The Ice Wharf on Strand Road has been named as winner of the overall title for Northern Ireland at the Loo of the Year Awards.
It follows on from the pub’s individual award of a gold star rating by inspectors.

The pub was entered for the overall title of best pub toilets in Northern Ireland, competing against a host of other pubs.
The toilets are judged by anonymous inspectors against numerous criteria, including decor and maintenance, cleanliness, accessibility, hand washing and drying equipment
and overall management.
The Ice Wharf, a Wetherspoon pub, is managed by Julie McAllister.
Julie said: “It is a great feeling to know that The Ice Wharf has the best pub toilets in Northern Ireland.”
The Loo of the Year Awards 2012 managing director, Mike Bone, said: “The toilets at The Ice Wharf are outstanding and our inspectors judged them to be the best pub toilets
in Northern Ireland.”
