On Sunday 7th June Knock Shrine will celebrate its 130th anniversary. The people and priests of the Diocese are invited to lead the prayers and worship at Knock Shrine starting at 2pm. It is hopes that as many as possible could travel to Knock on the day.
Large crowds are expected on Culdaff beach on Sunday next at 6am when the Inishowen Gospel Choir will perform a spectacular closing ceremony of the 2009 Bealtaine festival. The Dawn Chorus is a once in a lifetime experience not to be missed. All are welcome to attend. It is advised to wear warm weatherproof clothing. Stewards will be in attendance.

Volunteers are invited to gather in Lagg Cemetery to-morrow Saturday, 30th May at 11am. Please bring grass cutting equipment and black bags to remove the grass. We ask that when you have cleaned up around your family grave's you take all rubbish home with you. Please do not leave it around the cemetery grounds.
Sign Language Course: Would you like to learn sign language. Subject to demand the intention is to hold a 10 week introductory course in Malin Town. Host families in Inishowen are being sought to give children from Chernobyl a three week holiday in July. Do you think you could give a child from Chernobyl a recuperating holiday? Weekly activities are organised and translators are available at all times. To take a child out of a contaminated area even for a week can boost their immune system up to one year. Feis Domhnaigh returns to Carndonagh on the week-end of 19-21st June. The Feis will be held in three different venues in Carndonagh Community School. Anyone with cups from last year are asked to return them to any Feis committee member.
