Drugs and imitation rifle seized after Derry house search

A quantity of cannabis has been recovered along with a balaclava, imitation rifle and baton during a search of a house in Derry.

A PSNI spokeswoman says a a 21 yr-old male following a search of a house in Governor Road this morning.

“A quantity of cannabis and suspected mephadrone was seized. The drugs have been sent for forensic testing.

“A balaclava, imitation rifle and baton along with other items were also recovered.”

Police are asking anyone with information on suspected drugs offences to contact the City Centre Neighbourhood Team on 0845 600 8000.
