Fancy learning to kayak?

Just Kayak, Greencastle Road, Moville are running beginners courses commencing on Monday 4 May. Flat water course starts Monday 4 May and run every Monday for 4 weeks, the cost of the course is €100.

Sea kayaking course for beginners and improvers starts Thursday 7 May from 7pm to 9pm for 4 weeks, cost of the course is €100. For further information contact 9382331 or 0872202577 or email adrian@justkayak.ie.

The annual parish workers' meal will take place in Caiseal Mara on Friday 15 May at 8pm.

All those who work for the parish in any capacity are invited to hand in their names either directly to the Parochial House or through their leader/co-coordinator/choir master or to Helen on or before Sunday 11 May. Only submit your name if you are absolutely sure you will attend. Last year a large number of people failed to turn up and the food was wasted.

Nevertheless the parish had to pay the full bill. If this happens again this year, the future of these meals will have to be reconsidered.

Serenity House, Moville are organizing a day trip to Aranmore on 2 June. For further information contact Serenity House on 9382945. Seats will be allocated on a first come, first serve basis, so book early to avoid disappointment.

A trip is being organised for a weekend break in Scotland to visit the Highland shows and day trip to Edinburgh city which will take place from the 26 to 28 June. Price per person sharing is 250 euro and 70 euro deposit will secure a seat. Price includes coach, ferry and 2 nights bed and breakfast staying in a hotel on the outskirts of Glasgow approximately 5 miles from the city centre. Serenity House, Moville are holding an evening of dancing in Caiseal Mara Hotel, Moville on Friday 1 May from 9pm to 12 midnight, music by Ed Sweeney. Raffle and spot prizes galore, everyone welcome and admission 5 euro

A new 6 week yoga class will be starting on Wednesday 6 May, morning session, 10.30am and evening session 7pm, in Caiseal Mara Hotel, Moville. For further information contact Mary on 0868276720 or 9382515. All are welcome.

Moville Celtic FC numbers draw. Winning numbers 1, 6, 10 and 15. No jackpot winner. 20 euro draw winners, James Carlin, c/o Trawlerman's; Lawrence Harkin, Moville Celtic; K Norris, c/o Norris Shop. Congratulations to Moville Celtic who won the Ulster Junior Cup last Sunday with a trilling 2 – 1 win over Redcastle United. Goals from Nigel McMonagle and Ritchie McElhinney brought the cup to Moville for the first time. Well done.
