Foyle MLA off to Welsh Assembly
Foyle Sinn Féin MLA Raymond McCartney will travel to Wales tomorrow to lead a delegation to the Welsh Assembly.
Speaking ahead of the visit, Mr McCartney said; “The Sinn Féin delegation will meet with the various parties and the Speaker of the Welsh Assembly as well as members of the British Irish Parliamentary Assembly.
“This is part of the Sinn Féin process of building contacts and working relationships with politicians across all of the parliamentary fora in Ireland and Britain.
“We will take the opportunity to inform our Welsh colleagues of the state of play in our own Assembly and to update ourselves on developments in the Welsh political scene.”
