Howzat! Local cricketer and wife win lottery
A local cricketer and his wife are said to be bowled over after scooping almost £200,000 on the UK lotto, the 'Journal' has learned.
It's believed James and Jennifer McBrine from Artigarvan were left stumped on Sunday morning when they checked their winning lottery ticket.
Matching five numbers with the bonus the couple are said to be one of eight lucky ticket holders who netted a cool 193,841.
Yesterday a member of the McBrine family said the couple did not want to speak publicly about the win.
46 years-old James McBrine is well known in the County Tyrone village as a former Irish cricketer
His twin brother Junior also played cricket for Ireland.
