Last of the open Cervical Smear Clinics
Moville Cervical Smear Clinic on Tuesday, 1st September between 9.30am to 12pm.
These will be the last of the open clinics where no appointment is necessary. After these dates the Cervical Smear Programme will move to an invitation or recall system where all women must be registered with Cervical Check prior to having a smear test taken. Memorial Sponsored Walk in memory of the late Bronagh McLaughlin, Glasha, Carndonaghwill be on Sunday 30 August from Carndonagh to Malin. The Cairn Theatre Group presents "The Earl of Greencastle" by Patsy Cavanagh every Tuesday and Thursday evening at 8pm in the Cairn, Greencastle. The story of Northburgh Castle told through songs, music and Irish dance. For further information contact 9381104.
Scoil Eoghain will reopen for all pupils on Friday 28 August at 9.15am. Junior Infants will go home at 12.30pm until Friday 4 then at the usual time of 2pm. Books will be distributed during the first week and lunches will commence on Monday 7 September.
St Columcille National School Greencastle will be having their book rental evening on Monday 24 august in GP room from 6.30pm to 8.30pm.
Greencastle Resource Centre will beholding an Open Day in their new building on Saturday 22 August between 2pm and 5pm. We would like input from the public and all local groups into the final finish of the building. Please come along and have your say into how this facility can progress and become something the local community can be proud of. Refreshments will be provided.
