Lucky winners in big Christmas GAA draw

Buncrana GAA Club will be running a "Car Boot Sale" on Saturday 30th January between 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. in Buncrana GAA Club grounds (Scarvey). There will be a limited number of traders allowed so please arrive before 9.45 a.m. For details contact Brian on 086 380 7618. If the event proves to be successful, the club will consider running it on a monthly basis.

The results of the club's lotto draw which, took place on Tuesday 22nd December in O'Flaherty's Bar on the Main Street, are as follows. The winning numbers for the 10,000 euro jackpot were 1, 4, 16 and 22 - no winner. The winning numbers for the 375 euro Lotto Plus draw were 2, 5, 11 and 18 - no winners. The 20 euro prizes - Agnes Hegarty, Inch Island; Gerry Vaughan, Lisnakelly; John Martin, Aghilly; Kevin Cooley, Inch Island and Ellevyn Irwin, St. Oran's Drive.

Buncrana Pantomime 2010 presents 'The Adventures of Lorenzo'. The pantomime will start on Sunday and run until Saturday, 6th February. The 39th AGM of the Buncrana Credit Union will take place in the Lake of Shadows Hotel this Monday, 18th at 8.30 p.m. All adult members are welcome to attend.

Buncrana Go Active - Because of the continuing bad weather conditions all activities, including book club, bridge class, tai-chi, digital photography, Irish conversation and cookery will now resume the week beginning 18th January at the usual times and venues. The doors open at 9.30 p.m.
