Mallorca for Coach

THE man NME pronounced as 'more rock and roll than Oasis' makes his Coach debut on June 16.

Mallorca is undeniably Scotland's most enduring and groundbreaking underground DJ/Producer, having released over seven artist albums and countless singles .

The maverick MC/DJ/producer hazards a kamikaze, DIY, punk-rock approach to DJing and electronic music production that blows up the boundaries and pick-locks the pigeonholes of modern day dance music.

From his humble beginnings in rave, producing music under the name Ultra-Sonic, he achieved global chart success with Public Domain, busting rhymes with rap legends Chuck D and Professor Griff (Public Enemy), his collaboration with German DJs The Warp Brothers, UK DJs Steve Hill, Andy Whitby and Technikal and not forgetting Mark Sherry, James Allan and David Forbes.

His energetic and at times downright crazy DJ sets are not to be missed, and you can witness it first hand at Coach on Saturday, June 16.

Dedicated to supporting worthy local talent, Coach’s main room will on the same date also feature a DJ set from Belfast DJ Mark Burton, who said, “It’s a massive honour and privilege to play at the Coach, and I'm really looking forward to it because I know how enthusiastic their crowd are.”

They will be supported by Coach resident DJs Barry McConkey and Mark Wesley while James Best will hold the fort in the C2 Room with a mixture of house and old skool, with Lee Paul plays R&B in the Light Bar.
