Man arrested in Derry dissident republican probe

A 50 year-old man has been arrested in Derry as part of an ongoing investigation into dissident terrorist activity.

Police say the man was arrested this morning following the search of a house in Circular Road.

“Detectives from Serious Crime Branch have arrested a 50 year old man in Derry as part of an ongoing investigation into dissident terrorist activity. He has been taken to Antrim police station for questioning,” a PSNI spokeswoman says.
