Mayor congratulates Derry camogie winners

The Mayor, Cllr Kevin Campbell has extended his congratulations to the Derry team who beat Galway in the All Ireland Intermediate Camogie Championship Final Replay yesterday.

Derry edged out against Galway in a thrilling game that saw Derry win 2-10 to Galways 2-09. The Mayor congratulated the Derry team for their brilliant performance and said they had done the city proud.

“I would like to extend my congratulations to the team and their management on their brilliant victory. They have done the city proud. Well done to everyone involved,” he said.
