Meetings on closure plans for Dungiven Police Station

Limavady PSNI will hold two public meetings as part of the consultation process on the proposed closure of Dungiven police station.

Area Commander Chief Inspector Sam Donaldson said: “Anyone who wants to express their views on the proposals and how policing can be delivered in the area is strongly encouraged to attend. It is important that we hear a range of views during this consultation period. We want to ensure that the service we deliver is tailored to the needs of local people.”

Details of the meetings are as follows:

Dromboughil Community Association Hall,

Thursday 1st March 2012 at 6pm

Dungiven Sports Pavilion,

Thursday 1st March 2012 at 6pm
