Monster Quiz on tonight
A quiz is to be held in the Arch Inn tonight at 9.30pm in memory of the late Rita McDaid.
Rita's brother-In-law, Paul McDaid is running the Dublin City Marathon in her memory with all money raised going to Our Lady's Hospice Harold's Cross & Blackrock Hospice who cared for Rita so well. Please gather a few friends and come along to support this worthy cause.

A Cycle, run and walk will take place on Sunday 23rd August organised by North Pole Cycling Club. The cycle starts from the North Pole Bar, Drumfries. Sign on for the cyclists starts at 9.30am with the first riders off at 10am. There are two cycling routes one 25 miles and the longer 40miles.
The walk and run starts at 11am and is over a 10km circuit. Refreshments will be provided afterwards in the North Pole bar. This is a fundraising event for Karl Doherty from Carndonagh who is representing Ireland in the World Hand Cycling Championships. The event takes place from the 8th to the 15th September in Italy
Sponsored cycle will be held on Sunday, 6th September, leaving from SuperValu, Carndonagh at 10am. There will be a few different routes to suit all abilities. All proceeds in aid of the Foyle Hospice and Donegal Hospice. Sponsor cards available or you can pay 10 euro (adult) or 5 euro (child) registration on the day. PLC C0URSE IN CARNDONAGH COMMUNITY SCHOOL: The Post Leaving Certificate Department (PLC) is offering a course in Business Administration with Tourism in the academic year 09/10 (FETAC LEVEL 5). The course consists of modules in Administration, Word and Text Processing, Accounting, Spreadsheets, Databases, and Communications. Work placement in local business firms is also included.
