Police appeal after man spits on woman in car

Police in Derry are appealing for witnesses following an alleged altercation on the Culmore Road involving two motorists.

At around 2.40pm on Tuesday a female driver was parked outside a primary school on the Culmore Road when a male driver got out of his car behind and approached the female in her car.

It is understood the male driver spat on the female before he got back in his car.

Police say the area was busy at the time with a traffic jam and are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident to contact Police at Strand Road station on 0845 600 8000.
