PSNI plates on Google Earth
It's thought that some PSNI officers in Derry have expressed security concerns over the latest version of Google.
The concerns centre on the fact that number plates of cars parked at PSNI stations are clearly visible on their Google Earth application.
Google Earth has already come under fire for some of its pictures, such as those of private residences of leading politicians and pictures of people leaving adult shops. However a security source played down the security fears of some local police officers stating: “What is presented on Google Maps is the same as what anyone would see if they walked past or drove past a police station.”
