Search continues for teenager

Police and rescue teams in Derry were today continuing their search for an eighteen years-old man who went missing with his friend.
Kieran McKeon who is from the Republic of Ireland was last seen in Derry on Thursday morning.
It’s feared that the body of a woman recovered from the river on Thursday evening could be Alexandra O’Brien, a 21 years-old woman who was travelling with the teenager.
However police in Derry say no formal identification of the remains has taken place.
Police revealed they began a missing person’s search on Thursday morning after personal belongings were found on the Foyle Bridge.
Enquiries revealed Alexandra O’Brien who was described as ‘vulnerable’, had recently travelled to the city from the Republic of Ireland and was last seen at a local hotel with Kieran on Thursday.
A body was recovered by search teams including Foyle Search and Rescue, the PSNI and Sligo coastguard on Thursday night.
Further searches of the river took place today and yesterday.
